In providing service to you, PSIG collects certain information, such as your address, phone number(s), and other contact information. PSIG collects this information only by voluntary disclosure directly from you. This type of personal information may be requested on a variety of transactional forms, including PSIG event registrations. These forms may be either traditional paper-based forms in catalogs, brochures, or fliers, or electronic-based forms on our web site or at events. The information PSIG collects is intended to allow PSIG to process any transactions and better serve you.

To help you understand how PSIG uses your personal information, PSIG has developed a Privacy Statement which is based on the following principles:

• PSIG will disclose how it uses the information it collects;
• PSIG will give you an opportunity to restrict PSIG's use of this information;
• PSIG will give you an opportunity to tell us not to give the information to others;

• PSIG will give you an opportunity to correct the information in our records when it has been erroneously recorded.

The PSIG database contains information on members and nonmembers, including authors, exhibitors, advertisers, Pipeline Simulation Solution Providers (PSSPs), for the purpose of conducting PSIG official business.

How PSIG Uses Your Personal Information

Registration and other forms may require individuals to provide contact information -- mail, address(es), phone number(s), and email address(es), together with demographic and profile information, i.e., job title, industry sector, and areas of interest. PSIG also collects limited financial information such as a check or credit card number. PSIG uses the information to provide member services. From time to time, PSIG will permit companies, that, in PSIG's estimation, have something of value to offer to PSIG members to acquire and use certain of the personal information. This information is provided on the following basis:

• Membership approval. Members will be provided with the opportunity to opt-out.
• The requirement of approved PSSPs to strictly adhere to anti-spamming guidelines.
• PSIG ongoing vetting of approved PSSPs to ensure compliance.
• PSIG does not disclose or sell credit card or other financial information.
